Hi everyone,

I hope your summer is going well and you’re squeezing in plenty of pool and/or beach time. If you are lucky enough to have a sunny summer, please enjoy that for us who get buckets of rain poured all over us, most of the time out of nowhere, most of the time when I’ve decided to leave my umbrella in the drawer. Bright side: no sunburns or weird tan lines.

We took a little bit of a break in July and during that time, GUYS - the Sirius/Phoenix deal FELL THROUGH. If you’ve been reading for a while you know that the Phoenix is my favorite China-Israel drama. And it may or may not be going for another season. I don’t know, but I’ve heard there could be some significant changes on the Israel side, like soon, that may or may not change the course these types of deals. We’ll of course be following and will keep you informed.

This week we’ve got a few items for the picking: Giant Networks wants Playtika for itself; kind of mysterious health digital asset platform EOCH has gotten some more funding; Can-Fite got a pretty big deal if they can hop over some key milestones; SolarEdge extended their lawsuit against Huawei taking place in Germany; Hainan has done it again with a direct flight from Guangzhou - AND they have more routes up their sleeve. All that and more in the headlines below.

We're playing catch up and will send a July summary before the next newsletter.

Enjoy the newsletter, and as always give me a shout with thoughts and questions, or just to say hello.

-Laura
